I'm so happy to hear professors inviting PWS to talk to SLP students, are here you can get real life stories you will hardly find in books. And you get the chance to ask questions you might not like to ask your clients. Stuttering is a battle. Sometimes we fight out stutter, sometimes ourselves... My change came when I hit rock bottom. There were two ways out: off this world or on top of it. And with help of other people and the self help movement, I got angry! I found out that I had the right to speak. That I had something to give and to tell. That I wasn't my stutter. That I was ok WITH my stuttering as well as without. That the only person who could change my situation was... me!
