Suuport groups and chat groups are the best sources of information possible! (Not to mention the most wonderful, fun and loving people possible. :-) ) I always encourage SLPs to join us, we all have a piece of the puzzle. And to meet each other without any demands or roles (SLP-PWS). We all laugh with each other, we all learn from each other and we all have a drink together. Stutt-L was my most amazing support group. They listened to my never ending stories without asking me to stop whining (well, not to me that is...), they understood without me having to explain, they picked me up when I was down and cheered me when things went great. I love children and youth camps, as you can see the change in them after just a few days. I also love international conferences to meet people from different countries, exchange information, learn from one and be thankful you're not a PWS living in the other country... And the most amazing thing is, that you're one of the gang, the moment you walk through that door! No matter if your an SLP or a PWS, no matter age or if you're a first timer or a golden oldie: everyone is happy to see you and to get to know you. But the thing they all have in common is the positivity, no matter if it's about therapy, the latest research, going to a movie together or a workshop about self confidence. It's the feeling of hope and the feeling you're ok that's why I'm still a congress junkie, today more than ever... :-) Keep talking, Anita
