Anita, I completely agree with the fact that books cannot give you first hand experience with PWS. There are case histories to read, but when our professor invited PWS into our class, it was very enlightening. There is so much more than the sutter itself-there is the underlying emotions that can overtake a person. Our professor has encouraged us to take a course(s) in counseling, because you are not only providing therapy to the PWS but their family as well, who do not understand where it came from and why. You are very inspiring!!
