Thanks for your compliments. The key moment that made me speak about stuttering was when I met others who stuttered and heard their stories. I heard great stories about people having great lives and great youths, with friends and support. I also heard horrifying stories about bullying, lack of therapy and bad advice and treatment from people who still have no clue. That's when I realized that, if we don't speak and stand up for ourselves, noone else will. Because they don't know we need help, don't know how to help us or don't see the importance of the huge impact stuttering makes on our lives. And when I started to speak, people listened! And what do you do when people listen? You keep talking! :-) Anita
