Hi Rachel. I wish we could all skip this state of hiding under the blankets while thinking there is a demon in the closet and directly do what we should have done in the first place: put the door wide open and tell ourselves: "See, there's nothing in there and if there has even been, it's gone now." As demons are creatures we create in our minds. And the more we let them rule out minds, the bigger they get. We know deep inside there are no demons, but we believe in them and are ashamed to let others find out. So we need others to either open that door or, even better, to make us open that closet door ourselves and find out that the only thing in that closet it a lot of dust that should have been cleaned up a long time ago. You wrote "It's not a fault or an imperfection. It's one of the millions of things that makes us an individual." Wow, you real hit that nail, here. Your mail made my day and I congratulate those PWS who will have or choose you as their SLP. Find yourself, embrace yourself and others will do the same. Don't wait for others to encourage and motivate you. Do it yourself. Surround yourself with PWS and/or go to an NSA convention and you will find a world of encouragement and motivation. Keep talking! Embracement from me to you. Anita
