Hi Lauren. I didn't know there were other people like me until I was 27. Finding the support groupt was my major turning point in life. Today I encourage family members to PWS to come to our meetings, as they are our key people. We had our 30th anniversary this weekend and all members could bring their family. A mother to a stuttering boy came to me and was so happy she brought her girls as well, as they at first didn't want to come, but now they had a great time with kids who stutter and also got more interest in stuttering. One of them has dyslexia and found out her little brother had the same problems as she had and her shame of her dyslexia dissapeared slightly during the weekend, listening to lectures and to us. Those close to us are so important and the more they learn and support us, the better we feel and the better we feel, the more we can give in return. Keep sharing. And talking. Anita
