Wendy, thank you for sharing all this work! As an SLP in private practice, I am not fluent in the language of school systems. Rubrics, standards, curriculums, state mandated testing, workbooks and worksheets of many formats...these seem to fill the special world within a school building. As an outsider, your rubrics will help me communicate the complicated nature of stuttering in a way school personnel will understand. Question: are you finding that school districts are servicing children who stutter? I am finding that children are not being picked up if their grades are adequate. I'm seeing this even with moderate-severe elementary school stuttering. How are you advocating for children in the schools? Thanks again. :)
