I am not aware of any rubrics done for preschoolers. But, all of this can be adapted for younger children. I find that the best way to explain to a parent to deal with their child's stuttering is to ask the parent to treat the child when he/she is dysfluent as if the child had a cold/asthma, etc. Comment on it, lete the child know that you, too, heard it, and go on with your life. Say, for example, "that was a really hard one, wasn't it." This seems to take some pressure off the child and let him/her know that it is OK. Hope this makes sense.
