Thank you Vivian for being one of my inspirations and resource for this idea! I plan to use this with a 7-year old this year who is already self-monitoring and able to catch himself in moments of stuttering. His SLP at his school was in my Fluency class last year. This boy's mother is an SLP who used to work in our district and is currently staying at home to raise her children. I realize that we don't all have this great situatioin that I have with this young boy, but we do what we can with the resources we have. And because of people like you Vivian, that I consider one of my mentors, I have an opportunity to help make a difference for this child, his parents and those connected with him.
