Judy, The only problem I have with you excellent online conference is its acronym. And since is it has been in existence for 10 years, I can look at it dyslexically (sp) and be quite happy with it. Thanks for giving us a first rate online conference on stuttering. Larry Padgett In an email to Ken St. Louis, who organized and leads our NSA chapter I wrote: Ken, Thanks for the ISDA reminder and letting us know about the article you put in the Dominion Post. The article was well written and will help local people be aware of what our NSA Chapter has to offer. _________________________________ After realizing my typo, and a little reflection, second email to Ken said: In my previous email I had an inadvertent typo "ISDA" But since I not SAD, I greatly prefer the typo acronym to theirs. ISAD gives the wrong connotation. By interchanging the last two words of International Stuttering Awareness Day you lose nothing except an undesirable inference given by the bad acronym the organizers chose. _____________________________ Judy, Just a thought for your consideration and thanks again for the conference.
