Julie: Good question. I don't know of any specific studies, but physcians who were interested in cluttering decades ago described them as angry, resistant, disinterested, impulsive, explosive, and difficult to treat. I think my 1986 chapter in Ken St. Louis' book, The Atypical Stutterer has some information you may be interested in. Thanks for the question.
