Regarding indicators of possible cluttering I agree with Dr. Myers. I did however locate some information Dr. Lois Nelson from Univ. Wisconsin sent me a few years ago. She suggests these indicators of possible cluttering in children 3 and 1/2 to 6 years. 1. Compulsive talker, non-stop--verbal diarrhea 2. Loud talker; difficulty in reducing loudness 3. Rapid rate with slurred articulation 4. Story-telling below age level 5. Word-finding difficulty 6. Chjild "revved up." excites self easily 7. Aware, but continues talking anyway 8. Responds poorly to verbal cues; responds better to visual instruction I have found Lois' indicators helpful, especially #2, 6,7,8. Yet, I don't feel comfortable identifying cluttering until 2nd grade or older?? Good luck, David Daly
