I found your article very enjoyable to read. As a graduate student, currently taking my first course in fluency, this topic was new to me. I think your comments about the onset of neurogenic stuttering following medical events such as a spinal examination procedure, as well as the possibility of neurogenic stuttering appearing weeks to months after the linked medical incident, to be very interesting. Do you know if current research is in progress on these more atypical onset characteristics or is most of the current research focused on neurogenic stuttering following strokes, TBI's, etc?
