I am a graduate student in speech-language pathology and am in an introductory fluency class. We have not covered neurogenic or psychogenic forms of stuttering but both are very interesting. I have had no experience with clients who stutter thus far, so my question is in regard to treatment. The example you provided, of Ann, stated that she showed little progress even with therapy. Throughout your career and experiences with neurogenic stuttering, do many individuals who present neurogenic or psychogenic stuttering show little improvement as Ann did?
