Celina - it really depends. Some clients show good improvement, some others do not. In my experience, clients who have more complex communication disorders, such as aphasia and stuttering, or apraxia and stuttering, have a harder time making progress. However, most clients that I have treated are quite happy with any progress made, even if it's only a greater insight into their disfluency problem.
