Meghan - thanks for sharing that story with us. I don't know whether or not his changes of recovery will be hindered. Of course, the longer a problem exists, the more complex it often becomes and hence more difficult to treat. But there are so many variable that influence treatment that I don't think there are any strong criteria or guidelines yet for prognosis. I hope you will have a chance to work with this client and to see how much progress is made. Often, initial success in treatment is a good indicator of future success and a good prognosis (but not necessarily a complete recovery).
