Andy, In reading your article, I find it inspirational that, after all of your teenage struggles and subsequent growths as you got older, you decided to become a speech pathologist. In grad school, one of my teachers is a person who stutters and he became a speech pathologist as well, and another of my teachers talks about how many of her fluency clients have gone on to do the same. So I wanted to ask you, what was it that initially triggered your desire to become a speech pathologist? Also, did you feel, at first, that your stuttering would make you more or less effective as an SLP? I look forward to hearing from you, and wanted to praise you on all you have accomplished! Thank you, Cristina Silva
