Hi! Thank you for sharing your story! It is great to see someone gain confidence and basically ‘come full circle’ when faced with adversity, as you did (becoming an SLP yourself). I am a graduate student in a speech-language pathology program and I was hoping to gain some insight into how to help adolescent clients who stutter (particularly, to help them gain more confidence in themselves and not feel so alone). I was wondering if you ever joined any teen support groups, or if you ever received helpful advice from an SLP, close friend, or family member that gave you the confidence to get through those difficult years?
