My sister is diagnosed as a severe stutter and was rather traumatized by her speech therapy during her teen years. I want to be very careful not to allow my clients the same experience. I was wondering what advice you have for a speech pathologist who has never stuttered when dealing with a teenager who is struggling through issues of stuttering.
