Wow - great question :) I think my definition of "normalcy" has changed dramatically from my teenage years. I don't want to be normal anymore - that sounds boring :) If we're going off the definition of being able to speak what I want to say when I want to say it - then I've definitely reached that. I attribute it to three factors in my life at that time - (1) speech therapy - for me that it was done by another PWS and I was taught about stuttering and tools that I could do before, during and after stuttering, (2) the feeling of how incredibly fed up I was with having stuttering run my life and (3) my girlfriend at the time (who later became my wife). She was the second person in the world who I ever confided stuttering stuff with and she was a rock of support for me just when I needed it. I do think PWS can and do reach that sense of normalcy. It all depends on the definition, of course, but I do believe it's reachable.
