Hello, I am a graduate student from New York University. I find it disgusting that the media would mock anyone with a disability and I agree with you many times their misfortunes are the brunt of jokes and so they are made fun of solely because of a simple "joke" seen on television. By Youtube encouraging this type of "humor" they too, are feeding the fire and showing it is OK for people to laugh at those with a disability. Do you think, however, it is enough to just protest at the level of Youtube? Do you not think it would be better to go to the main media sources i.e. television companies the movie industry, censors or even local government officials to educate them about their lack of feeling for those with disabilities? By attacking the source, do you agree it would lower the distribution of negative reaction by the public? Thank you very much.
