Much as I enjoyed Leys' reality check video, I was dismayed to find that YouTube also is being used as a marketing vehicle for stuttering "cures" such as the SpeechEasy. I would like to see more people who stutter using YouTube, not only to post videos of their own but also to post comments refuting the claims of the snake-oil salesmen. It also would be helpful for speech professionals -- usually a shy and reticent lot -- to post comments themselves to help checkmate the use of YouTube as a promotional vehicle.
