Katie, I enjoyed reading your comment on this well informed and well timed article from Leys. I am a PWS , or rather a Person Who is becoming Fluent. I agree there is a real need for a lot more dialog between stutterers like myself and Leys with SLPs, but more importantly with students who are learning about stuttering and what to do with clients who stutter. Have you any thoughts on how to increase the existing dialog? Is it through media like You Tube, or just mainly by talking to university classes? I would have fun doing a 5 minute video for You Tube, but I doubt if I would stutter, so the effectiveness of my contribution would have less impact than others who do stutter in video clips. (Still I an doing a minute or so on Televisa, Mexican TV next week. I have asked if it can go live on October 22nd, but I do not know if it will.) Thanks for all you and your fellow professionals do to try to help us. Take care, Keith
