I agree with every word you say. If you stutter, the main consequences are social and work-related. But PWS don't usually come out and say this, so nobody hears anyone stutter, and so nobody cares much about stuttering. In fact, there was a lady on the radio here earlier this year who was saying that she thought stuttering had been cured because you never hear anyione doing it any more! If we want to change things, we will have to go through the indignity of speaking out. We can even get angry, you know, especially about things like the YouTube Comedy classification. Look how things have changed for mobility disabled people. We should be aiming to be on a par with them.
