I'm a speech-languge pathology graduate student. I just read this article and was wondering if you believe that making stuttering more visible to the public would diminish the comedic aspect of stuttering. What effect do you think it has on PWS when they see public figures who have recovered from stuttering (or do not stutter in publc) through public media outlets but do not find other PWS in the television or radio media?
