I just want to say that I admire your courage and conviction. Unfortunately, people who stutter have always been portrayed in the media as unintelligent, ugly, dorky, and even as being a bit ridiculous. In fact, they have been portrayed in this light for so long that it has become almost natural to assume that someone who stammers is slow or of low intelligence. In creating and posting a video of yourself openly stuttering on YouTube, you have single handedly helped to change the way in which the world views people who stutter. The image that one sees when watching this video is not one that fits with the stereotype, but rather that of an articulate, educated, intelligent man who simply has difficulty talking at times, but whose message is of no less value. I find the video to be very powerful and believe that it will help contradict the stereotype that the media has thoughtlessly created. --Vickie
