It is so wonderful that you were not ashamed or embarrassed to stutter during your interviews. What a positive example for people who stutter - and even those who do not! Being able to publicly show that people who stutter "simply have trouble in getting the words out" will undoubtedly help raise awareness and understanding of stuttering. In the undergraduate and graduate fluency courses, we frequently discuss the cause of stuttering. I had not heard that "faulty wiring in the brain" was the root cause of stuttering. Where did you find this information? Also, have you seen or heard of any media that shows stuttering in a positive light?
