I am enrolled in a fluency class at Northern Michigan University for my undergraduate in speech, hearing, and language sciences. In the beginning of the semester, my fluency professor approached our class and told us we had to go out, outside of campus, and stammer. I was unbelievably afraid. I hadn't really had any real interaction with PWS, nor did I know how to sound believable to those I was confronting. So, the first place I went to become educated was, in fact, YouTube and that is why your paper hit right at home for me. I actually watched numerous videos of children to adults who stammered. This was an incredible tool to me. What you are doing sounds like something everyone should watch because when I was out in the "real world," I did not get very pleasant reactions. And so, I feel like if these people got a chance to watch these kinds of educating videos- they, too, will have a much better understanding about PWS. Thank you!
