Hi Rachel, Thank you for yor question! With my university students my self disclosure has not really been a formal announcement so to speak! It has been indicated by me during difficult speech moments that I am struggling with a certain word due to my speech dysfluency. But when I teach on postgraduate Myofascial Trigger Point courses, I always tell the participants about my covert/mild speech dysfluency. This is a fantasctic "ice breaker" and lets me concentrate on the content and not be "bogged down" by presentation, fluency issues. The course evaluations have fortunately always been very positive! I have not been involved in a stuttering support group but want to set one up at my university. Kind regards, Rob
