Hello, and thank you for your very interesting paper. As a graduate student working with persons who stutter, I have come to understand the importance of addressing the emotional aspects of stuttering, including confidence building. Can you recommend any specific techniques that I might try to use to help build up the confidence of persons who stutter? In addition, I have read and heard that many persons who stutter find it liberating to talk about stuttering. Others get sensitive and don't want to focus on it or talk about it. Perhaps that is why many fluent speakers, including friends and family members try to avoid the topic, which can be harmful as well. Can you recommend how family members may approach this matter? Thanks!
