I enjoyed reading your article and the unique perspective you had to offer. Also, I find it very commendable that you chose your profession, despite the difficulties you knew you would encounter. I think it is inspiring that you chose not to “avoid” doing what you love. Were you always very candid with your students and colleagues about your stuttering? Do you find that people treat you differently after you tell them?
