The seven principles of stuttering are great tips to live by as a clinician and helps me to see, as a graduate student, that it is not my job to fix the stuttering, rather to help the client with the knowledge that I do have. It is very important to keep up on the research and continue to gather information, learn about and understand stuttering. Your CALMS model will be beneficial for me to use someday when the need arises!
