Thanks for your post. I'm pleased that my article was helpful to give a broad perspective of stuttering therapy from my point of view. I developed the CALMS model as a way to help organize our thinking about how to assess and treat the disorder from a multidimensional point of view. I have found it helpful in my clinical work and my students who are now working in the field have told me they find it helpful in planning therapy and explaining to parents some of the contributing factors that maintain stuttering.
