The 7 principles are organzied and explained in a way that clients, parents, and SLPs can understand. As an SLP, it can be difficult to answer some of the questions in a consise and caring way. I look forward to reading more about the CALMS approach. I have a teenage boy who says he wants to change-improve his speech, but he is unable to identify any feeings about stuttering. Do you have any suggestions? I am going to look for the CALMS materials. Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.
