Hi Russ, my name is Jessica Mangi and I am a first year graduate student at New York University. I am currently enrolled in a fluency disorders class, taught by Professor Caggiano. I have become highly intersted in the subject matter and find your story to be quite amazing and inspirational to all those adolescents who stutter. I am curious to know if there was a significant event or situation in your life that made you realize this vast difference between stuttering and struggling? How important do you think it is for those who stutter to realize this difference in order to communicate effectively? Lastly, did you have support from family or friends during your most difficult "struggling" years? Thank you so much for your time!
