Hi Joshua, Thanks for reading my paper. How old are you? Are you a member of the National Stuttering Association? Go to www.WeStutter.org and you can find out a LOT about stuttering there. We have activities for all ages, kids, teenagers and adults. You'll like it! ..... Throwing something in the air and scratching is a lot like I used to do, stomping my feet, blinking my eyes, whistling, etc. It took me a long time to realize that THAT kind of activity was what people were reacting to, not my stuttering. But I've been where you are, believe me! And I know it's tough. Just hang in there and do what your speech teachers tell you to do, and you'll be all right.
