Hi Russ, Thanks so much for you paper. It is always great to get the insiders point of view. I'm an MA student at Kean Univ in NJ studying speech pathology. My question to you is about your old secondary behaviors. You say that overtime you learned to stop struggling and with that your stuttering improved. How did you get to this point? From foot stopping and head jerks to hardly none at all? From what I gather, alot of secondary behaviors are involuntary. So how is it that you took control? Are you using a relaxation technique in combination with a controlled stutter? Have these behaviors ever come back with a vengeance or do you always have your mind set to controlling them? Last question- I swear: these techniques- where did you pick up your most effective techniques- from other PWS', SLPs, others? Do tell, do tell!
