Mr. Humphrey, I am a first year graduate student at The College of Saint Rose and currently taking the Fluency class. When you began stuttering, you mentioned you conducted "self-therapy" on yourself. I was just wondering what you would have done if that did not work, for instance, would you seek help elsewhere or continue different methods on your own? Also, in general, how did people who knew you before the aneurysm react to your stuttering? Did they suddenly appear to be uncomfortable talking to you? Lastly,I don't know much about stuttering yet but, does neurogenic stuttering have a tendency to "come back" or do you ever worry about that possibility? Thank you for your time and for reading all my questions! Your experience was very interesting to read about and I wish you the best of luck in the future!
