Treatment for neurogenic stuttering follows the same principles as treatment for developmental stuttering. I suspect that people with neurogenic stuttering may present stuttering problems as diverse as the stuttering problems of people with developmental stuttering. In either case, we need to develop a treatment plan for the individual who has come to us for help. BH
