Tara, changing the entire way of speaking - and doing it constantly - is the goal of fluency shaping strategies. So, I was treating myself constantly -- at times. If a day or two happened to go by without a dysfluency, I might "slip", but when dysfluencies re-appeared, they reminded me to change my way of talking. BH
