I have never heard specifically of an individual with aphasia that also has acquired neurogenic stuttering. Is there any kind of correlation in that area? Nikki, the idea of stuttering as a gift did not originate with me. I have read and heard such statements from other people who stutter. The same thinking can be applied to other human conditions. Problems that we are given to accept, compensate for, or solve can be viewed as gifts when we can find within them opportunities for personal growth. BH
