I really enjoyed your positive outlook on what you went through. You were very lucky to have so many friends and colleagues to help you through it, as well as a good sense of humor! I am a first year graduate student in the field of communication disorders and we don’t get much information (especially first hand accounts) on neurogenic acquired stuttering, so this was something new for me. I thought it was interesting you look at what you went through as a gift. It is pretty ironic that something like that would happen to someone who can now use it for research purposes and provide helpful insight for our field.
