I enjoyed reading your story. It was very interesting to read the accounts directly from a patient/survivor of their injury. I've met a clinician who specializes in fluency disorders and he uses a lot of techniques that involve rhythm. He has performed many of his therapy sessions while swinging on swings to assist in the rhythmic techniques of speaking with his clients. I'm wondering if you found your initial stuttering difficulties to be any better when you began to play music and sing again? I often hear that many stutterers are not disfluent while they sing. Did that seem to be the case for you?
