I wonder if you were more aware of the voice difference and how to treat it because you are in the speech field, and if others who have had intubation seek treatment. -Dana Dana, I was initially aware of my voice problem because I have considerable singing experience. After my release from the hospital, I noticed my shrunken vocal range and I arranged for a voice evaluation. My interests in singing, speech-language pathology, instrumental music, and technology have supported each other well over the years. We did not know for sure that I had a partially paralyzed vocal fold until nasendoscopy was performed. BH
