Hello, I am Jessica B. from New York University SLP Grad program. Your article was interesting and brought up a few questions in my mind. -Is there a high number of Post-traumatic stress syndrome patients who stutter in other parts of the world? -Was there any family history of stuttering for any of the children? -It seemed that more boys started stuttering. Do you think that an increase in testosterone from puberty and (and perhaps from the PTS) play a part in the appearance of stuttering? I bring this up because girls usually recover from stuttering more often than boys. I wonder if hormones play a part in this. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
