I wanted to tell you that you are doing extremely important work, and try not to become discouraged! I am surprised to learn that there are no SLPs available in your country to work with people who stutter, and that stuttering is not recognized as a communication disorder! Regarding your study, I wonder what the nature of the disfluencies you observed in the teens is? It makes sense to me that you would see more communication disorders in a population that has experienced severe trauma - psychogenic communication disfluencies. Thank you, and all the best for the continuation of your work!
