Hi Alan. Thanks for your kind words. It was wonderful meeting you in California, and I will take you up on that "coffee" in Jersey. Yes, avoidance *is* insidious. That's such a great word to describe it... We all want less pain in our lives, and unfortunately, the longer you avoid the pain with stuttering, the worse things get... maybe that's why so many people who finally have faced their stuttering are such strong individuals...
