Thank you for sharing your inspirational story. I was able to take so much from your presentation, as well as, the comments posted in the question/comments section. I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree as a Speech-Language Pathologist and the comment you made about how your confidence was in how your therapist *got it* really struck home. Empathy and unconditional positive regard are just as important in therapy as the fluency techniques that we learn throughout our coursework. Congratulations on your successes. Laura
