Hi Joe, Thanks for the great article! I really enjoyed reading about your journey, and I am glad you are doing so well now. I am Speech-Language Pathology graduate student at West Virginia University, and I am currently taking an advanced stuttering course. I really feel that I am learning a lot from this course and from reading stories like yours. I noticed at the end of your article that you said the college where you work really cares about stuttering (which is awesome!) but that many schools do not. I have also read in text books that fluency disorders can be intimidating to SLPs, which is probably in part a result of not enough focus on educating people about stuttering. I was wondering why, in your opinion, stuttering is often neglected by Communication Sciences and Disorders departments? Thanks Again, Julie
