Joe, Great article. You share many wise ideas. You wrote, “life is NOT worth walking alone.” I couldn’t agree more. As a teenager and young adult I was so very ashamed of my stuttering and never considered sharing my thoughts and feelings about stuttering with anyone else. But by doing so, I finally figured out that other people could help me in taking on my stuttering. You also suggest that people who stutter take chances. I could not agree more. Joining a self-help group and meeting other people who stutter does take courage. But by doing so, I found that my life was forever changed! Thanks so much for your article. Peter
